The Client
Mackie’s of Scotland is a family-owned business rooted in the rich farmland of Aberdeenshire, where quality, sustainability, and tradition have been at the heart of everything they do.
Each year we store and maintain their exhibition stand at our warehouse, and install it at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh in the month of June.
Our Role
Darklight stores the exhibition stand in a dry, secure warehouse. Each year, the stand is reassembled and thoroughly inspected to ensure it remains structurally sound. Any necessary repairs are undertaken, and the flooring is refreshed with a new coat of paint, ensuring the stand is maintained to a high professional standard and remains in excellent condition for future use.
Installation
Darklight coordinates the annual transportation of the stand to Edinburgh each June for installation at the Royal Highland Show. This includes the delivery and installation of the large freezer required for serving their ice cream. Our service also covers liaison with the showground and full management of health and safety requirements during installation.
